Hello There (>insert drabble<), Welcome Home

I’ve been having one of those weird weeks.

Last week I was feeling uninspired (I was still doing things but on soulless autopilot – like my dentist) I was the metaphorical snail about to be crushed by the proverbial boot.

But! This week I’ve perked up a bit – Everything is inspiring me. So whilst I felt that way I decided to use my energy to make some new creations. I think (I hope) that I’m moving in the right direction with this caper.

It really is a nice hobby to have although I wish I could afford some more books on the subject. I know that the internet probably has all the knowledge I could and would ever want; similar to the Tower of Babel but there’s something nice about leafing through a book. Maybe it’s the smell, texture or the symbiotic relationship it has with my bookmark (made by a young person I once tutored). The bookmark is a cat hanging from a tree with the words “Never Give Up”.

Did you know that kindle is used to describe a group of kittens?  I did not know that. My Postman shared that nugget but since he still gave me the wrong mail 10 seconds later- I suspect it was a fluke. Seriously I need to stand my ground. I’ve been delivering wrongly posted mail for that man so many times that I’m tempted to find out if we’re actually Time-Sharing the job.  I may be accidently employed by the Royal Mail.

So here’s my latest creation. (Can you guess what inspired it?)
