Did this little painting for a raffle prize for the Archery Ayrshire League final leg. I wish I’d done the hands better but I’m working on it and this painting was created quickly (but with love). (And in reality – you can’t shoot with your hair down but nobody seemed to pick up on that).

Van Gogh’s Daughters
Van Gogh had no biological children but his death and legacy has inspired generation after generation of people to create art inspired by him. His memory lives on through the Daughters of Van Gogh with every young woman who sees his work and creates art inspired by his swirls and expressionistic style. I did these […]
2026 Spring/Summer!
‘Chaotic Hope’ ~ An Island Expressionist painting by AMS (Scribblewolf) An oil painting (technically my first proper oil painting) of an island on a roaring sea and dramatic sky. I digitally altered this one on Corel Draw – Just to play about with and add some sunshine and add greens – the ocean almost looks […]

A True Art?
I’ve been doing some reading about papercutting but there aren’t that many books about it to be honest. Or maybe, shudders, it’s not considered an artform at […]

Paper Cutting (from my cats point-of-view)
P.O.V of my Cat, Sherlock. His deep and meaningful interpretation of paper-cutting as art. :-There IT (my human slave) goes again. IT’s making noise and scrunching up the paper into a ball for me. I go into the bin and get a hold of it. I throw it in the air, ignoring my humans lamented […]
Weak Week
Well I had managed to cut a poem and my confidence was fairly confident. “The world is now my paper-cut Oyster” I thought to myself. Karma at this point was probably having a similar metaphorical reaction except its went like this – “Mwahahahahahaahahahaa” cue diabolically finger movements. The beginning of my week was rather positive. […]
